Up to €355/month per child for single parents whose ex-partner doesn't pay child support — the state pays first, then collects.
Rozpocznij wniosek →Unterhaltsvorschuss is a German federal benefit that advances child-support payments to single parents when the other parent fails to pay, pays too little, or cannot be located. The state pays the child support directly to the parent caring for the child and then tries to recover the money from the other parent. Amounts are scaled by the child's age and follow the Düsseldorfer Tabelle minimums.
Warunki
The child must be under 18 and live in Germany with one parent who is single (not married/partnered to the other parent or to anyone else for tax purposes). The other parent must not be paying full child support. From age 12, the child themselves (or the receiving parent) must not be receiving Bürgergeld — or the parent must have income of at least €600 net/month from work.
